There is something almost holy about a great French Onion Soup. Revered in Paris, and really many regions in France, with melted Gruyere on toast to accompany it you really are transported to a heavenly state. Onions also offer great liver support so it's a win win when you are washing it down with a fabulous red wine.....
Ingredients: Onions, A Bit Dressy Chicken & veggie stock, butter, cider, balsamic vinegar, thyme, cornflour, salt & pepper, French brandy
GARNISH TIP: Melted cheese on toast, cheese, melted. Cracked pepper. Melted Gruyere if you are being truly authentic...
Refrigerate and use within 7-9 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months, remove from glass jar before freezing. 2-3 servings ( depending on your appetite!)
